Kent and KZA from Sarcastic photo shoot
Force of Nature is KZA and DJ Kent. They are respected producers/remixers, from
Tokyo, Japan... and really good DJs. In the past they invited Paul T to DJ on
tour
with them in Sapporo and Tokyo, Japan.
Together as FON, their most current is a full length album on Dimid entitled
"*The
Force Of Nature", which is in stores now. They most recently did a remix
for Crue-l
records in Japan. In the past, FON has also released tracks on Mo'Wax's "Art
Of
War" 2cd compilation.
KZA has recently done a remix for DJ Shadow which appeared on the Japanese
only "Private Repress" cdep/12". In addition, he has released
several mix cds,
including
"The Disco Rarities" (early hip-hop and disco) and "Electro Binoculars"
(classic and unknown electro).
Kent has released an initial 12" ("4:21"/"R.M.N.")
on Guntez, done a remix for
Sly Mongoose and most recently did an ep for Bear Funk in the UK (sub label
of the popular Big Bear re-edit series). Kent has also put out a split mix cd
with
Sly Mongoose called "Portable Disqo."
