UPDATE

So... yeah, it's only been like, what, two months since we've done an update? Lots of information to relay.

Firstly, if you didn't notice, the
WhateverWeWantRecords stuff didn't end up in the Sarcastic webstore as mentioned earlier... uh, sorry about that. "Noo reeaasonnn..." Hope you were able to find it elsewhere. Speaking of, you still might be able to find those records in the newly opened Hideout online store in the UK. They had copies last time I looked. Check it out! If you don't know what The Hideout is all about, read the informative history section on their site.

pic
PRINCE FATTY Nina's Dance 7"

Speaking of England, our homies over at Stussy UK have a really neat special edition package coming out for all the reggae lovers in the audience. Limited edition box containing an exclusive 45 by Prince Fatty ("Nina's Dance"), one of 5 limited t-shirts, custom 7" slipmats, custom 45 adapters & stickers too. 2000 sets worldwide, and 400 aditional hand-painted copies of the 7" released promo-only and to specialist vinyl shops around the globe. The 7" is also a collab between Study Master records (who helped out with WhateverWeWant) & Stussy. More detailed info and pictures at the official site (be sure to listen to audio clips and play with the space echo loop toy while you're there.)

Looks like the Rub N Tug guys got a website up. Hit Eric & Thomas up, book 'em for partytime. Be on the lookout for new remixes of LCD Soundsystem and Sly Mongoose by the Rub N Tug guys as well.

pic
Speaking of Rub N Tug and Stussy, Stussy Japan will be having Rub N Tug plus special guests Force of Nature and Paul T (among others) for a four date tour of Japan at the end of August, passing through Tokyo, Osaka, Okayama and Hiroshima. Specific dates to follow. Supported by Stussy (of course), Sarcastic, Mad Hectic, SoundHero, Bal, and Gimme 5. And yes, limited edition shirts of the above graphic will be available, each from the individual brands in their own colorway. If you are able to attend any of the parties, you definitely don't want to miss out!

Don't forget to go out and enjoy the summer while it lasts!

Founded in 1996, Futurehouse is a name that is synonymous with quality dance music. On top of its annual soiree, Futurehouse hosts a world-renowned Internet radio show, featuring foremost players from the dance music industry.  Derrick Carter, Mark Farina, Halo, the Idjut Boys, Joshua (a.k.a. This year’s stellar Futurehouse bill promises an unforgettable night of revolutionary music, dirty dancing and good friends, so don’t miss one of LA’s most legendary gatherings.  $20 presale tickets are on sale now for a limited time at www.groovetickets.com .  On May 14, $25 presale tickets will go on sale at Wax Records, Grooveriders, Exodus Records, Elevator, DJ Culture and Dr. Freecloud’s.  Buy your presales now and upon arrival at the event, receive the commemorative double-disc CD compilation mixed by Lillyanne and Paul T. FENG SHUI –— FOR THE NIGHTCLUBBER

"Hang your mirror ball at least 12 feet from the dance floor. This will ensure that all the positive energy released through your scalp will have space to
dissipate. Too many positive waves crushed into a small amount of air have the ability to generate a friction that may lead to sudden mood swings.

Speaker stacks, as a rule, should only ever be placed on the dancefloor itself. Never hang from the ceiling or attach to a wall. Sound frequencies must be allowed to enter through your toes first, never through your ears.  This will boost your chakra from below and elevate you mentally.

Neon lights, strobes, and rotating pin spots should work on a cycle, and be evenly spaced. Lights that are placed too tightly together counteract with your aura and this leads to a negative feeling. Avoid this by measuring carefully.  Remember to only mix pastels with pastels and primaries with primaries."
